- Point of view shot allows the audience to feel as though they are in the characters shoes, which would make the horror film more scary.
- Establishing shot makes the audience aware of where the film is set, before the actual story begins.
- High angle shot which would illustrate the murder attacking the victim. It makes the film more scary as though the camera is looking down.
- Over the shoulder shot creates tension between characters and makes them seem closer than they really are.
- A low angled shot allows the audience to feel intimidated and unsteady.
- Extreme close ups allow the audience to view the characters in detail. When the camera is zoomed into the persons face it creates a terrifying effect.
